This Operating Committee shall establish priorities for action to maintain, enhance or restore wildlife and fish habitat associated with working agricultural or forested lands among federal NRCS or state or private industry programs. It will work with the Network Coordinator and the Steering Committee to communicate its objectives among members, especially local governments and relevant state agencies, to enlist additional outreach and technical assistance. Priorities will be guided by funding source criteria and Nature’s Network and other mapping that identifies high potential lands and connectivity with natural areas and/or future adaptation needs.
